Training Kent - Making the Most of our Training
As well as making sure that the facilities are suitable for the training, there are other things to consider if you want to get the best from our training courses.
- Make sure that all the participants have been given the timetables we will provide in advance. Check that they are clear on when the course starts, and that they can get there in good time. If they want to arrive a little early that will help them to settle in without being rushed by traffic, late buses or other problems that can crop up!
- Understand that we will be asking your employees to turn off their mobile phones. If this really is not possible due to the nature of their work, we will ask them to leave them on silent, so they may not immediately respond.
- Encourage your employee to talk about the course afterwards. Arrange a time for you to talk together and share what they found most interesting and what skills they feel they learnt.
- Give your employee the support they need to change the way they work. Some of our courses will suggest to participants that they change the way they deal with their workloads and their colleagues - be supportive if they are trying to make a positive change.
